Where do I sign up
For most of these networks, look under the Publishers section. That’s you, being the publisher of content on your blog or niche site and the publisher of the advertisement. From there look for a sign up button to access their sign up form.
Who do I sign up with
In our opinion, appearance matters, so when looking for an Ad platform to sign-up, ask yourself what is the first impression you get when opening the site. Having looked at all the sites on the list, some are obviously better than others on presentation and the quality of the information it provides. Next, look at the demo ads and list of existing advertisers and publishers. Visit the publishers on their list to check out of the ads are displayed as they should.
We use Google’s AdSense ourselves and like the console where it’s pretty much real time, showing earnings of the days and all the possible reporting options to gauge the performance of each ad and type, hence the transparency we mentioned earlier. We felt this should be available as a minimum on other platforms. So, take your time to read more about these publishers and find the right fit for you.
Final Thoughts
After looking into the different options out there to monetise our websites, we felt there is certainly scope for us to explore and try out these networks. This is not to say that we would recommend any of these to our reader over Google AdSense as we have no real experience to speak of, yet.
If you have used any of these other platforms, please do share your experience with us.

After having adsense ad serving disabled on my prized website, I went without monetization for 6 months while receiving at least 2500 unique visits per day. I wish I had read this article when it was first published so I could have been using clicksor for August traffic. This article is very informative and useful. Thank you for writing and sharing this

Adsense does well but the main problem people looking for alternatives is that adsense don’t approve easily or they just disable the account for reason which are not in publisher’s control. I personally prefer Adversal quite similar to Google’s adsense and pays well.

I have been using Media.net for long time. It is not as good as Google Adsense. But It pays enough. I do not have a lot of page views. but I am earning good. I also tried infolinks before. But it pay less than media.net for click.

Google Adsense is the best revenue advertising program but I really don’t agree that it’s the best of all. Adsense has VERY strictly rules and may ban you even if you didn’t do anything to get that ban and the worst thing is, you cannot appeal (you can but you won’t get your account back).
Infolinks- this is probably the worst advertising media, it has ONLY facebook ads and they are really untargeted that’s why I really don’t recommend this media, really bad.
Adsense wins if you can have your account.

Indeed a Great post.
But according to me, none of the adsense alternative can give the revenue as much as Adsense can give. I haven’t tried all the above alternatives but I tried infolinks and I had worst experience with it. After having huge amount of traffic, I was able to make only 100-200$.
Because my blog was banned by Adsense. If this wasn’t happened then that traffic can surely make around $2k+.
That’s why infolinks is far away from Adsense in terms of generating revenue.
BTW Thanks for sharing it with us.
