Google Analytics for Android
What better way to access Google Analytics than on their own mobile operating system, the Android. A very highly rated app, the app lets you access all of your Google Analytics web and app reporting profiles from your mobile devices (tablet and smartphone). Google has update the app with a new look that is optimised for different screens (phones and tablets) and features a clean and intuitive layout.

Dashboard for Google Analytics by Velyoo
Taking a departure from white and often clean and uncluttered layout for a dark background with coloured indicators does give it an edge. Dashboard for Google lets you easily track your targets and goals with KPI colour codes; red, white and green.
Key Features
- Real time dashboard for Google Analytics (auto-updating limited to 5 mins)
- Goals and target value setting: define and set values for KPI (eg 1000 visitors per day) and track if you are reaching your target (now, today, this week and this month) and compare to previous periods with quick indication (red, white, green)
- Website Performance Index: monitor overall website performance in one single number (WPI): set weight each of your KPIs based on importance compared to others and let the app calculate the WPI automatically and real time.
- Dashboards for each profile (unlimited number of accounts and profiles)
- History chart for each metric in a trended and accumulated view, comparing the values to your targets and previous period. Pre-defined time spans for now, today, this week, this month as well as yesterday, last week and last month.

Fishhead Analytics
We use this on the iPhone as it is the only version available. Designed for iPhone 5, with support for retina display, the app supports multiple accounts and profiles, with metrics in all reports laid out in a horizontal list format. Browsing to these reports are as easy as clicking on the report heading. There are more than 50 reports. The data in the report is updated hourly and can be accessed by setting a daily setting (preset days or custom day).

gAnalytics (Android)
Here is another app for the Android platform, the gAnalytics. It presents analytical data mostly in graphical format in a white and clean background. The main viewing options on the dash are Panel, Visitors, Content, Goals and Ecommerce. Set the time period you wish to query for the data and the app will update the graphs accordingly be it number of visitors, page views, bounce rate, new visits or more. We couldn’t wish for a better app on Android devices, we followed gAnalytics since its early days. The app has matured since. Love the choice of fresh colours for graphs and charts which makes it easy to read.
