Another of my favourite, Pixabay, offers a variety of free stock photos that are grouped by categories. The site also lets you sort the images by photos, vector graphics or illustrations as well as size and colours. A new section has been added recently to include Video clips. All this is available to download and use in commercial and non-commercial projects both in altered and unaltered forms without permission or credit. There are some restrictions and you can find this here. To download the images, a login is required. Registration is however free. If you are happy with the image in low res, simply right click and choose save image. These are usually up to 1280 pixels perfect for the web.
